Ciera and Tyson are getting married in September and I met up with them last weekend to shoot their engagement photos. They had decided that they wanted to re-create their first date (minus the 97 IPAs and staying out till 3:00am!) and it was perfect!
We started out at Montana Ale Works for drinks. These two had won me over weeks ago, but when I walked in to see Tyson working on a Moscow Mule (my favorite!) and Ciera's gorgeous, easy style, I knew things were going to be great.
After Ale Works, we headed out to a part of town I didn't even know existed until Sunday. There was a great trail with a cool old bridge and a gorgeous view of the mountains.
After this super secret spot, we headed up Peet's Hill. Ciera told me that Tyson takes her up there so she can get her dog fix: they aren't able to have one right now, but she loves them and they love her! Luckily, a sweet little pair photo-bombed us during our session :)
After Peet's Hill, we headed for Hyalite. We hiked 3/4 of a mile into Palisade Falls and Ciera did it in wedges! Guys, she's a trooper for real. In all, we spent four hours chatting, laughing, learning, and shooting. Ciera also gave me a little insight into their September wedding and I'm over the moon excited for this intimate, boho celebration. Lots of lace, flower crowns, and a cascading bouquet - AND beer and liquor-infused cupcakes: all the things dreams are made of!
P.S.: It's Tyson's birthday week!
